This is a video to compare two HTC VR headsets - The Vive Cosmos Elite and the HTC Vive Pro 2.

HTC Vive Pro 2:
This is an upgraded version of the HTC Vive Pro that boasts a new display with "best-in-class" visuals and some seriously impressive specs. I've been testing out the HTC Vive Pro 2 in order to compare it with the competition and see how it stacks up.

Highlights of the Vive Pro 2 include:
- Comfort - this is one of the most comfortable VR headsets I've tried. Nicely balanced with superb padding
- Visuals - the Vive Pro 2 has the best display with a wide field of view and fantastic graphics if you have a machine powerful enough to run it
- Sound - the hi-res certified headphones offer great sound and block out surrounding noise with ease. They're also loud and offer great positional audio
- Passthrough - the software now allows you to use passthrough via the cameras, so you can see the room around you with ease without taking the headset off.
Lowlights:
- Straight line lenses - these are frustrating because you can see the lenses more easily which ruins the experience a bit in my mind
- Nose guard - the rubber protection here sometimes blocks the lenses so you can't see as well.
The Vive Cosmos Elite is essentially what the Vive Cosmos should have been. With the external tracking faceplate it has excellent tracking, brilliant visuals, great comfort and more.
