Rant regarding quality work and quality products and initial installation of GSP CV Shafts on a 2003 Toyota Tacoma 4WD.
A bit annoyed while replacing these CV Shafts, especially as a $4.00 part kept the vehicle on jack stands for an additional 5 days while I got the correct locking caps ordered from Toyota. They should have been included with the shaft.
The shafts themselves came in on separate deliveries and were installed as they were picked up which is why I did not notice the difference until the second one arrived. Not sure if there is a quality difference between them, but the stickers were different. One has a "made in China" sticker and the other states "not of GSP manufacture." The China one is on the passenger side and the "not of GSP manufacture" is on the driver side so I guess we'll see which one lasts longer.
1 month, 1100 miles: both drive shafts good, no leaks, no driveline vibration.
