The debut of the "Tango'd" campaign and one of the most famous British ads ever made, in which commentators Ralph and Tony (Hugh Dennis and Ray Wilkins) overlook a hidden Tango experience that parodies the "cause and effect" tropes affecting advertising at the time by using an orange-painted bald guy (Peter Geeves) slapping a young man across the cheeks. Despite raising sales and changing the face of advertising, it led to kids Tango-ing each other to the point where one got his ear drum damaged; therefore, it was replaced both by an equally funny version in which the man gives a kiss and a surprise one where the victim flees. Directed by Matt Forrest at Limelight.
