After more than two months of archaeological excavation work by the China Uzbekistan Joint Archaeological Team, archaeologists from both countries discovered a large settlement site from the Guishuang Empire era in southern Uzbekistan, providing valuable research cases for revealing urban development and cultural transformations of that era.
