In part 5 lof my project, this Craftsman lt1000 from 1996 is almost finished. I figure out the wiring and where all the wires go, I tested and connected the stator (the one I thought was fried from my testing) to the battery and it charges the battery at 13+ volts. I fabricate the husqvarna ignition switch to fit in the dash of the tractor. I cosmetically made the cracked hood more appealing. i reset the governor and fine tuned the throttle linkage and the fuel mixture screw, and replaced the magneto with the original one. it seems to run better now, but still has hesitation at high throttle. Stay tuned for the next episode where I install the drive belt, mower deck and finally get to find out if the transmission works, will it drive, will the blades and spindles on the mower deck be unseized?
