Whether or not you have some hilarious memories of three-cylinder engines from days gone by, we don't blame you if you have some reservations about GM's latest powerplants in their newest small crossovers..
But recently, our Justin Pritchard put on about 3,000 kilometres behind the wheel of the Buick Encore GX and Chevrolet Trailblazer, and came away pleasantly surprised. Both of these little crossovers were powered by GM's new turbo-three, pumping out 152 horsepower and 174 lb.-ft. of torque. Here's what he has to say.
