Come join me on a walking tour of Main Street in Houston, Texas. It's a sunny Sunday afternoon and everything is quiet. The light rail zips past down the middle of the street as people are going about their business. There are some shops and restaurants open, but many things are closed either due to being Sunday or the pandemic.
Sidewalks that are packed with people on weekdays are mostly empty. There are lots of sky scrapers and historic buildings, as well as public art.
