Friday marks a week since the first plane carrying 16 migrants arrived in Sacramento from El Paso, Texas. A second plane arrived on Monday with another 20 asylum-seekers from Colombia and Venezuela.
On Wednesday, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis confirmed his involvement in the migrant relocation, claiming the flights were part of Florida's voluntary relocation program.
