Yes, I love the original version, but this one holds a special place in my heart. This used to air on Saturday afternoons during the #Christmas season on #KAIT in Jonesboro, AR, and I fell in love with it. This was, I believe, a made for TV movie, but it certainly had star power. #SebastianCabot has the role of #SantaClaus, a part he does very well with. #DavidHartman, former host of "Good Morning, America" is on here. #DavidDoyle, #TomBosley, #JimBackus, and so many others. Oh, one other thought that came to me while this was processing: the 50th anniversary of this movie is coming up. I don't believe there has ever been any official release on this (my copy was recorded from the now defunct Fox Movie Channel), so I think it's time for Sony ATV (who it says has the copyright control on this) to give this a complete scan for hi def and put it out on blu-ray. This would look stunning!
