Star Swirl the Bearded is a powerful wizard unicorn and is one of the Pillars of Old Equestria with Rockhoof, Mistmane, Flash Magnus, Somnambula, and Mage Meadowbrook, representing the Element of Sorcery. Star Swirl appears in the season 7 finale Shadow Play. Twilight Sparkle idolizes Star Swirl and once wore c costume representing him. Star Swirl was the mentor of Clover the Clever, one of the founders of Equestria.
