The new Lost Omens Ancestry Guide has been released for Pathfinder 2nd Edition and with it we got 14 new ancestries to choose when making a character. These ancestries range from full blown ancestries like the Android or Fetchling to versatile heritages like the Undine and the Beastkin.
In this first part of our review, we dive deep into exploring the Android, Aphorite, Beastkin, and Fetchling ancestries. We take a look at the different heritages for each one as well as the ancestry feats that they can choose when creating a character from them.
Chapters:
00:00 Intro
00:52 Android
12:00 Aphorite
19:18 Beastkin
26:04 Fetchling
The Android is a staple race that had some play in Pathfinder 1e and obviously was quite popular in Starfinder. The Aphorite is a versatile heritage that allows you to play a number of different races with a special twist on them. The Beastkin is also a versatile heritage where you have werecreate abilities to be able to transform into werewolves, werebats, and more including a t-rex. The Fetchling has been a classic race in Pathfinder 1st edition as descendants from the Shadow Plane and it is great to see them back in Pathfinder 2e embracing their shadow elements.
