Penang is a melting pot of different cultures, and there's no better way to experience this by visiting the myriad of temples scattered around the island. In Part 1 of the 4 part "Temple Hopping in Penang" series, we get up early to explore Wat Chaiyamangalaran, a Thai Buddhist Temple and its Burmese neighbour, with one of the largest reclining Buddha statues in the world!
