Taiwan, home to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), makes over half of the world’s chips. They partner with all the big players, from AMD and NVIDIA to Apple and Google. Chips made in Taiwan power everything from appliances to cars. Not only do they make the components, but they also create the production line processes to put it all together.
