In this video I discuss Destruction Warlock in 10.1 and predict its dominance in raid and M+ environments given present tuning and the likelihood of changes going into next tier. While the tier set (centered on Channel Demonfire) encourages stationary gameplay and doesn't offer a major contribution to our overall damage, Destruction Warlock still shines in both ST and AoE settings. Historically, Destruction has been reasonable on sustained AoE, mediocre at ST, and excellent in cleave settings, but we are positioned to be top tier in each of these, and there is not a clear path forward for Blizzard to nerf our damage. Most of this power is tied to the value of Chaos Incarnate, which I recommend as a mandatory talent going into 10.1.
