When Jesus shed his blood on the cross for the forgiveness of sins, his sacrifice was for all sins, for all time, and for all people. There is no longer any sacrifice for sins necessary for the forgiveness of sins because Jesus' sacrifice was full, final, forever, and for everyone. If more forgiveness was needed, Jesus would have to die again and again. But because his sacrifice for sins was for all sins, for all people, and for all time, he does not need to die again and again. This forgiveness is received by faith in Jesus.
