"LIVE MUSIC ' is back again in Southern Ontario!...After an 18 month drought Brant Parker and his fabulous band: Bill Holinaty on Sax, Sean O'Grady on Drums, Brad Kraus on Keyboards & T. Nelson on Bass were such a welcome sight.
Their special guest this particular afternoon was the great Canadian bluesman Terry Gillespie. Terry has been operating out of Ottawa since the late 1960's/early 1970's. He is one of the best musicians I've ever heard. Sue Foley once told me that Terry Gillespie was her mentor. When she was underage she would sneak into the bars at midnight to watch and listen to Terry.
You should try and get out to Donnelly's some Saturday afternoon on the patio and see Brant Parker with his band and special guests each week. You won't be disappointed I promise you that!
