As soon as Apple announced their new 27" 5K iMac, we ordered not one.. but TWO of them!

This model that we're testing right here is the high-end $2300 model that now comes with a 10th-Gen 8-core CPU, a 512GB SSD and a new Radeon Pro 5300 graphics chip at the BASE price.

You used to have to spend $400 to get an 8-core CPU on last year's model!

So we compared this New 2020 5K iMac vs 2019 5K iMac to see how it performs! That 2019 model also features the Vega 48 graphics and it comes out to around $3500 compared to this model which comes out to around $2500.

In this video, we compare everything including Geekbench 5 CPU, Geekbench 5 Metal Graphics, Unigine Heaven Gaming Performance Test, Thermal throttling and cooling performance and Cinebench R20 CPU Stress Test to see how much better the 2020 5K iMac is compared to before!
