President Donald Trump had a surprise for military spouse Amy Williams and her two children during his State of the Union address. “Amy, your family's sacrifice makes it possible for all of our families to live in safety and peace -- we thank you,” Trump said, then told Amy her husband was back from deployment as Sergeant First Class Townsend Williams came down the stairs in the House of Representatives balcony to greet his family. Trump delivered his annual State of the Union address on Tuesday, Feb. 4. The speech came the day before he is expected to be acquitted of articles of impeachment in the Senate and a day after voting in the 2020 presidential nomination process kicked off in Iowa.
