ActionAid is working to support survivors of acid attacks and prevent violence against women and girls across the world.
Nahar was attacked with acid at the age of 15. She tells us about her experiences and how ActionAid helped her recover and build up her self-confidence.
Nahar started working for ActionAid Bangladesh and founded an Acid Survivors Network that provides survivors and their families with support.
Since then, ActionAid has worked with Nahar to help and support 2,500 women scarred by acid attacks.
