'To give the limit gauge to a character in Platform Fighter Engine, open up the character's init script and scroll down to the "Custom Scripts" section.
Use "callback_add" to give the character the "limit_gauge_passive" and the "limit_gauge_hud" scripts. Make sure to NOT have parentheses after the script names!
For the passive script to work, you also need to set "character_static_attacks" to "false".
And for the HUD script to work, the "player_hud_type" must be set to "HUD_TYPE.legacy".
When you run the game now, you should see the limit gauge above the character's portrait. Fill it up, and your Side Special will become Limit Cross Slash!'
