Jordan, Egypt, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and France jointly conducted an airdrop of humanitarian aid, including food and medical supplies, over Gaza on 27 February.
Approximately 45 tonnes of aid were dropped in the northern and central parts of Gaza, as reported by local Egyptian media.
This occurred amidst warnings by aid agencies about the looming famine in Gaza while Israel has been delaying deliveries. The United Nations Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) stated that the last time they were able to deliver food aid to northern Gaza was on 23 January.
