Now we're all caught up with 2015 DLC, until Ain't It Fun and My God Is The Sun come out, presumably. Two weeks on, I would still say this might not be one of the worst charts HMX has put out, but its flaws are among the most outstanding and evident. Of course, there's the solo, but the fills at the end of the first two choruses are also incorrect. They might be overdubs, but I really think they're kind of not.
Which is really where all my fear comes from. I think I can safely say that few people really give a shit about these songs that have come out (except for maybe R U Mine), but for the charting to have fallen so far and for so many features, big and small, to have been cut from the DLC leaves me wondering what's going to stay in RB4. PAX East cannot come soon enough; then we can start getting actual details about the game.
So in the meantime, bets on the next batch of DLC? Doof and I agreed Ain't It Fun by Paramore is a shoe-in, and Fever by Black Keys was basically his second pick. If HMX wants to continue their "comeback" thematics, they might release Been Away Too Long by Soundgarden. If they want to demonstrate the creative depths of the new DLC, they can release Hollow by Alice In Chains. If they want to describe some of their fanbase, they can release The Negative One by Slipknot. If they want to actually be cool, they can release some of The Motherload by Mastodon.
Speaking of disappointing comebacks, look at my guitarist and tell me if you agree with my thoughts on the game he comes from.
