APA formatting is notoriously difficult. As I learn the new requirements for the APA 7th edition, I am creating short tutorials help share what I am learning. I will be focusing on APA citations, references, and general formatting. The mechanics of style are the first things professors notice when they open a document for grading.
Brief History:
The APA style in the 7th edition retains many of the features from the 6th edition. In text citations, references, and title pages are still present. However, the American Psychological Association has made emphasized the importance of writing over formatting (thank you!) and has created two different versions: professional and student. My videos here will always use the student version unless explicitly stated otherwise.
