This week, I take on the jazz standard “How High the Moon”. My approach for this song was to practice comping. My comping in general needs a lot work, so I wanted to practice some rhythm and melodic comping ideas with this song.
Out of interest, you must check out Ella Fitzgerald’s version of this song, she is just ridiculous! Another brilliant rendition is by Les Paul!
