Described as “ one of the great buildings of the world” Liverpool Cathedral is the masterpiece of Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, an iconic building on Liverpool’s famous cityscape. With its foundations stone laid in 1904,hundred of skilled craftsmen then constructed the magnificent edifice which was opened by Queen Elizabeth ll in 1978.
