Today was a boiling pot themed adventure!
Started with some good food and finished off with a swim under a waterfall.

The hike was short- but there isn't really a trail. We needed to climb over huge rocks and walk through weeds. The next day my quads were so sore! But in a good way, because I know I got a work out.
I would say less than a mile? Super short, but rough terrain.

The water is really cold and the sun wasn't out. But I HAD TO jump in! Couldn't go all that way and not.
You do get warm from the hike, so the water at the end is refreshing. Being out there in general was very exhilarating. On a sunnier day and with my goggles, I will swim out to the waterfall. All three of them!

The restaurant we ate at is called Cham Cham. Near Bank of Hawaii by Hilo airport. We would definitely go back!
The Korean kimchi pancake was very good. The place isn't well ventilated, so when they BBQ Kalbi, the whole restaurant gets smoky. We have driven by but never tried it in the past because it's not inviting. There is a barred gated door and not clear signage... However, after trying the food, we are glad we stopped by!
