Learn snowboarding basics with free RIDERS app for iOS and Android — [ Ссылка ]. In this video tutorial Anton Lavrentiev is explaining how to learn a basic element in discovering toe edge - a Toe Slide. This is the first trick you perform with your back to the slope.
Get up off your knees and into your toe stance. To hold your balance in this position keep your weight strictly over the snowboard, keep your knees bent and balance with your hips. You accelarate when you slightly low your heels and you break when you shift onto your toes. Remember to leave your weight over the center and hold the toe stance constant as catching heel edge is no fun at all.
Next step is to shift your weight onto one foot. Which foot you choose it will determine your direction. Try it in turns for both feet. There is nothing to fear just try it out with lessons for beginners from RIDERS!
