In this segment, we shall discuss about COP-27 meeting and its implications. Recently, the COP-27 or Conference of Parties-27 meeting was organized from 6th November to 18th November 2022 in the Egyptian city of Sharm-el-Sheikh. Have you ever wondered what happens in the meetings held year after year by the global community on environmental issues? The goals set in these meetings are accomplished at a slow pace which suggests that there are more talks in these meetings and fewer goals are achieved. It is said that the apprehensions of war and disasters are raised in these meetings, huge discussions are held and some tall promises are made at the last moment. After the end of these meetings, the pace of implementing these tall promises slows down.
