situated in the Italian Dolomites (South Tyrol), the Dolomiti Superski area stretches over a combined 1200km of groomed runs. In the main area, around the Sellaronda, you have 7 (by lift or run) connected ski resorts: Val Gardena, Val di Fassa, Seiser Alm, Arabba, Marmolata, Alta Badia and Carezza.
I had my stay in Ortisei, Val Gardena and explored around those resorts (except Carezza). Despite the Dolomites being known for having dryer winters with less snow and much sun, all runs are open as long as possible. The scenery is impressive and makes you feel being in winter wonderland.
