The latest trends in home design are now on display in south Naperville.
For the first time since 2008, the Cavalcade of Homes has returned to town.
The event is put on by the Northern Illinois Homebuilders Association and includes six homes in Ashwood Park that visitors can walk through to get ideas for their own houses.
Crestview Builders, James Scott Design & Build, Kings Court Builders, and Overstreet Builders Inc. designed the homes, making each one different, with designs ranging from modern to country.
With price tags ranging from $700,000 to $1 million, the goal isn’t just to outright sell the homes but to also create relationships between the companies and future homebuyers.
“There are obviously a lot of people who have no interest in a new construction,” said Pete Stefani, owner of King’s Court Builders. “They are either hobbyists, HGTV addicts, or some are actually looking at remodeling. And of course, we are looking to cater to those looking for a new construction, but we are open to everyone.”
A one-day pass is $12 at the gate and $10 online. The homes will be on display through August 17.
