Hey, guys! BBC finally made it official – Father Brown Series 10 is confirmed for January 2023! We are ESPECIALLY excited and relieved to learn about the Series 10 renewal as there were rumors that Series 9 was the final one. Not only the season finale marked the 100th episode’ milestone, it also saw the return of a few fan-favorite characters from the past seasons: Alex Price came back as Sid, Emer Kenny as Bunty, and Nancy Carroll as Lady Felicia. All of that made it look like Father Brown’s farewell, and we are happy to confirm it is not the case. Moreover, John Burton, who plays Sergeant Goodfellow, shared on his Twitter that filming of 10 new episodes has already begun on May 16. As usual, Father Brown is filmed on location in the village of Blockley, specifically the Church of St Peter and St Paul, and the villages of Winchcombe, Upper Slaughter, Kemerton and Guiting Power. If you are not familiar with the British geography, they are all located in the Gloucestershire County, which is part of the picturesque Cotswold Hills in South West England. 62-year old Mark Williams, who’s been playing the titular character for 9 years now since 2013, is back on set as Father Brown. By the way, as of today, Father Brown is BBC’s second longest-running daytime series. Share in the comments what you expect from Series 10.
