For more than 70 years, the United States has had a presence on the Korean Peninsula to enhance the Republic of Korea's air command and help protect the Korean people. In an effort to uphold this assignment, Civil Engineers from Osan and Daegu Air Bases are strongly committed to maintaining a “fight tonight” mentality with the utmost objective to protect and defend the United States and Korean communities.

With an increased presence of threats in close-proximity, preparedness at these installations is mandatory. Engineers are training consistently to sustain maximum operability and ensure the U.S. will continue to hold power in the region. At both bases, Airmen work closely with ROKAF counterparts to certify interoperability in contingency scenarios and unwavering preparedness in potential austere environments.
