Having patience as an artist or as a person in general - not a strong suit for many of us. Many times we're wishing for instant gratification because that's what our society has kind of taught us to do. But, growing your business is a long game. Art is a long game.
Instead of looking at our social media metrics on the daily hoping we get a million likes instantaneously, we should turn our focus to creating content of value, and look for long term results. We have to increase patience. Growing your art business and having patience as a small business owner is a big ask when the days are long and the work is overwhelming. But alas, you're not alone in your struggles.
My name is Nicole Roggeman, and my business is called Nicclectic. I am a coastal artist in Wilmington North Carolina who loves to paint piers, the ocean, and abstract art ideas that inspire me. While I am not opposed to using acrylic paints, I do consider myself to be an oil painter. Inspiration for art is all around me in the Wilmington NC area, and I love to explore. All of this comes together in my artist life and shows through my painting style!
Thanks so much for viewing! I'd be honored if you like my video and subscribe to my channel. I am an Etsy artist (and mom artist!), and you can also view the artwork I have for sale on my website:

Oh the fun, being one of the artists of YouTube :)
One last thing that I wonder if it'll help you find me - I like to think of myself as an emerging artist in North Carolina :)
Take care, Nicole Roggeman, Wilmington NC oil painter
