Snow fungus is traditionally eaten for its medicinal health benefits and has been upheld as a powerful tonic. White fungus is effective in nourishing the lungs, healing dry cough and clearing heat in the lungs thus helps strengthen the respiratory system and preventing colds. The fat and gum-like protein in snow fungus is especially nourishing and anti aging. They aid blood production and bring more circulation to the skin to give you a moisturizing and radiant complexion.
Ingredients
1 big piece dried snow fungus ( soaked for 4 hrs )
1/2 medium size papaya ( cut into cubes )
2 honey dates
100g rock sugar
1/2 handful dried longans
Bring 2 liters water to boil. Add all the ingredients except dried longans. Simmer at low heat for 2 hours or until soft. Add dried longan the last 15 mins.
