The BLOODHOUND Project is a UK attempt to set a world land speed record. Combining the aerodynamics of a car and a jet fighter, the BLOODHOUND SSC supersonic car aims to exceed speeds of 1,000mph. The world record attempt will take place in 2015 on the Hakskeen Pan in South Africa's Northern Cape Province.
