The Governor is the chief executive head of the state and works as the representative of the central Government. At present India has 28 state governors and 8 administrators/LG of Union Territories. After the resignation of Girish Chandra Murmu, Manoj Sinha has been appointed as the 2nd and current LG of Jammu and Kashmir. This article has the list of all the current state governors.
