A new statue has been unveiled, paying tribute to a Yorkshire regiment that fought in some of the most famous battles in history: Waterloo, the Somme and the D-Day landings.
On Friday, a statue was unveiled in Halifax, the symbolic home to the Duke of Wellington's regiment and now part of the Yorkshire regiment.
More than 200,000 soldiers – many from from West Yorkshire – have served in the regiment over the past 300 years.
Chris Kiddey, from ITV News Calendar, went to the Woolshops for the unveiling ceremony.
