It’d been awhile since I had really been reading, despite how much I still considered myself a reader. But it had probably been years since I truly had picked up a book to read, between having to read books all the time for college, and the general feeling of needing to be productive every second of my life. I felt guilty for wanting to read.
For 2021, I decided I was going to get back into reading, and find my joy in it again. I set the bar low for myself at 60 books - and I managed to go past that.
For 2022, I’m setting a goal of 100 books. Baby steps, but I’m looking forward to a lot of amazing reads this year.
