Marcelo recently graduated from the University of Leeds with an MSc in Transport Planning.
Marcelo works in a transport consultancy involved with the promotion of sustainable transport, and has a broad understanding of the challenges and needs of transport systems for the future. With a background in Industrial Design, he is interested on the application of future technologies in transport solutions.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
