The Black Princesses of Ghana defeated the Falconets of Nigeria to win Gold medal in the women's Football competition at the 13th African Games in Cape Coast.
Nigeria went ahead in the 24th minuets through Loveth Edeh who lashed on a loose ball from the Ghanaian goalkeeper.
The hosts, Ghana, rally back in the second half and their efforts paid off in the 78th minute as Tracy Twum scored an equalizer to force the game into extra-time.
Ghana added the second in the 94th minute and that sealed the gold medal victory for the Black Princesses who scored twice against the Falconets who prior to the game conceded no goal.
And that's how the final of the Women's football competition of the ongoing African Games in Accra was wrapped at the Cape Coast Stadium, Cape Coast, Ghana.
