For many centuries, the madrassa, or Islamic religious school, has been a traditional means for getting an education in Pakistan. Today there are other options, like private schools, but not everyone can afford them. So, many children still go to the madrassa. However, in recent years these religious schools have been portrayed negatively, as being breeding grounds for religious extremism. Danial Khan reports on the history of this traditional educational institution, and investigates allegations that it's breeding terrorists.
