The CrossFit Games are finished and the results have been tallied. After three days of competition, Mat Fraser and Tia-Clair Toomey are the 2020 CrossFit Games champions AKA the Fittest On Earth.
The race for 1st place was rarely in question, but the other competitors in this year’s finals battled for the 2nd and 3rd place podium spots throughout all 12 events. In the end, Samuel Kwant and Justin Medeiros took 2nd and 3rd place in the men’s division, while Katrin Davidsdottir and Kari Pearce claimed the remaining top spots on the women’s side.
Atalanta was the final event of the games, which consisted of a 1-mile run, 100 handstand push-ups, 200 pistol squats, 300 pull-ups and a final 1-mile run — all while sporting a weighted vest for the entire workout.
