In The Stax is a live music series that takes place amongst the shelves of the
Berkeley Public Library.
On October 26th, 2023 the North Branch hosted Kulintang Dialect, an ensemble practicing the indigenous Southern Philippine artform of Kulintang.
Lead by Conrad Benedicto, the group explores the idea of a Pilipino-American kulintang sound with its own distinctive accent.
