Nachal Sorek runs from the circle at Nachal Ayalon and Nachal Refa'im and goes to the main shopping center in Ramat Beit Shemesh Aleph.
At the Nachal Ayalon circle, Nachal Refa'im turns into Nachal Sorek. At this circle if you go down Nachal Ayalon it takes you to the main shopping center in Ramat Beit Shemesh Aleph and if you go up the hill at this circle then you reach Nachal Dolev.
Halfway down Nachal Sorek is a grocery store called Netiv HaChesed. It is next to the Nachal Lachish circle where Ezart Achim is and the turn off for the community center (Matnas).
By the Nachal Micha and Nachal Uriya circles there are many elementary schools, junior high and high schools.
The type of residential properties on Nachal Sorek are in apartment buildings about 4 stories high. Some of them have elevators, but not all. They range in size from 3 room to 5 room apartments.
The majority of the people who live on Nachal Sorek are Charedi and Yeshivish. Lev Eliyahu, Birchat Shmuel, Shivtei HaLevi and the Torah Center are just a few of the many synagogues on this street.
