On October 27, 2018, Jaafar Jackson made a significant impact with his solo artist debut at the prestigious Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. In 2018, Jaafar Jackson and NASGO's co-founder Eric Tippetts embarked on an innovative venture to utilize blockchain technology to "tokenize" Jaafar's album, "Famous," a project created in a collaboration with producer Hardy Indiigo. Regrettably, despite their ambitious plans, the album's highly anticipated launch was abruptly canceled at the last moment, marking the conclusion of the partnership between NASGO and Jaafar Jackson.

Jaafar's initial foray onto the stage actually occurred a year earlier, in December 2017. Lionsgate is releasing the movie in the United States on April 18, 2025, with Universal Pictures handling overseas distribution (excluding Japan). Directed by Antoine Fuqua, produced by Graham King with a screenplay by John Logan, this opportunity humbles and honors Jaafar as he brings his uncle's extraordinary story to life on the big screen.
