Soundsample of a Vychodil AVBJ5 70-s we have at the store. Recorded direct into a Korg D888 digital recorder with no added effects or soundprocessing.
The phrasesampler used is my trusty Akai Headrush, the sampled bass on it is the Vychodil as well.
This Vychodil is one of the best 5-string modern Jazzbasses we have seen and played in a while. Eventhough it has the 70-s setup the amount of 60-s midrich fat tone with the bridgepickup soloed was a nice surprise when we got the bass! Of course the fine Aguilar pickups and electronics help but the bass itself has the tone. Great fun to play!
