Ingredients :
* Oil : 2 tbsp
* Ghee : 1 tsp
* Cardamom : 4
* Cloves : 6
* Cinnamon : 2 inch pieces
* Onion : 1 No
* Fenu Greek : 1/2 tsp
* Cumin seeds : 1/2 tsp
* Curry leaves : few
* Ginger Garlic Paste : 11/2 tsp
* Green chilli : 3 No's
* Tomato : 1 No
* Mint leaves : 2 tbsp
* Coriander leaves : 2 tbsp
* Carrot : 1 No
* Green peas : 1/4 cup
* Mutton keema : 200 gm
* Salt : 1/2 tsp (or) to taste
* Red chilli powder : 1 tsp
* Turmeric powder : 1/2 tsp
* Fennel powder : 1 tsp
* Coriander powder : 1 tsp
* Garam masala powder : 1/4 tsp
* Broken raw rice : 1 cup
* Moong dal : 1/4 cup
* Water : 2 litre
* Salt : to taste (as required)
* Grated coconut : 1 cup
PREPARATION :
1. Take 1 cup of broken raw rice and 1/4 cup of moong dal washed and soak for 30 mins .
2 . In a pressure cooker heat oil 2 tbsp and ghee 1 tsp , add cardamom 4 No's , cloves : 6 No's , cinnamon : 2 inches pieces . And add sliced onion 1 No , saute the onions till they are translucent . Then add Fenugreek : 1/2 tsp , cumin seeds : 1/2 tsp , curry leaves : few , Ginger Garlic Paste : 1and half tbsp , green chillies : 3 No's . Saute it . When the raw smell goes .
3 . Then add sliced tomato : 1 No , mint leaves : 2 tbsp , coriander leaves : 2 tbsp , sliced carrot : 1 No , green peas : 1/4 cup , mutton keema : 200 gm , salt : 1/2 tsp (or) to taste , mixed well all are combined well .
4 . Then add Red chilli powder : 1 tsp , turmeric powder : 1/2 tsp , fennel powder : 1 tsp , coriander powder : 1 tsp , garam masala powder : 1/2 tsp . mix it well .
5 . Finally add the soaked broken rice and moong dal . Mix it and add 2 litre of water (check the salt if required add it ) and pressure cook it for 3 whistles .
6 . In a mixi jar add 1 cup of Grated coconut grind for a coarse paste .
7 . Open the lid and gently mix the porridge .
8 . Pour the coarse coconut paste and water and few coriander leaves . Stir for 2 minutes . Not a boiling stage . Only for heat.
9 . Turn off the stove . Porridge is ready to be served . Serve it hot . The tasty and healthy porridge for ifthar .
