"Der Klang Der Familie" is a groundbreaking track in the history of techno music, produced by 3 Phase and Dr. Motte. Released in 1992, it is widely regarded as one of the defining tracks of the Berlin techno scene and a significant piece in the evolution of electronic music
The title of the track, which translates to "The Sound of the Family," suggests a strong sense of community and belonging among techno enthusiasts. The track symbolizes this community and unity, which was the foundation of the techno scene.

From a young age, he was interested in music, and in the 1980s, he began his career as a DJ, primarily playing punk and new wave music. He adopted the pseudonym Dr. Motte, reflecting his fascination with surrealism and absurd elements of culture.
In the mid-80s, His DJ sets quickly gained recognition on the Berlin club scene. During this time, he met many important figures in the Berlin music scene, including WestBam (Maximilian Lenz) and Klaus Jankuhn, who played key roles in his later endeavors
In 1989, Dr. Motte, along with friends, organized the first edition of Love Parade The event aimed to promote peace, love, unity, and mutual understanding through techno music.
Love Parade quickly became a symbol of the unification of young people and rave culture. Dr. Motte was not only its founder but also the organizer and face of the festival for many years. WestBam, as one of the main DJs, regularly performed at the event, and his sets became one of the main highlights. In 1997, WestBam and Dr. Motte jointly created the Love Parade anthem titled "Sunshine," which became a symbol of the festival
As Love Parade gained popularity, other well-known DJs and music producers, such as Paul van Dyk, Sven Väth, Carl Cox, and many others, joined the event. They all contributed to the development and popularization of techno music worldwide
Dr. Motte, WestBam, Klaus Jankuhn, and many other artists who contributed to its success will undoubtedly be remembered as pioneers and icons of rave culture.
