The restyled '41 Chevy came in two series, the Master Deluxe, and the Special Deluxe. Bodies cam in a business coupe, two door Town Sedan, four door Sport Sedan, convertible coupe, a four door Fleetline Sedan, a four door wagon with 8 passenger capacity, and a coupe like this one shown. New features includes had a stretched wheelbase to 116 inches, concealed running boards, and headlights incorporated within the fenders. All Chevys now have " Knee Action " independent front suspension and engine modifications raised output of the " Victory Six ", a straight six with 216 cubic displacement, to a high of 90 horsepower. The Special Deluxe could have options like fog lamps, stainless steel fender trim, bumper wing guards, chrome wheel trim rings and an accessory hood ornament. Open the doors and you would see the concealed rubber covered sill plates that replaced the funning boards. The Special Deluxe coupe had a total of 155,889 units made with a base price of $ 800. The good looking '41 Chevy models sold 1,008,976 copies that placed Chevy 1st in the industry which was up 32% for a new company record. There were 16 paint colors to choose from and include : Ridge Green, Banner Beige, Kingston Gray, Cruiser Gray, Squadron Gray, Constitution Blue, Marine Blue, Admiral Green, Black, Cameo Green, Maple Brown, Santone, Naasak Gray, Cinnamon Green, and Ruby Maroon.
