Our FIRST EVER Honey bee colony split!
We rescued these bees from a chimney! The Queen, sadly, got killed.
We had lots of brood comb and loads of baby bees, so we left them for a couple of weeks, and, hey presto, the baby honey bees made loads of Queen Cells!!!
What amazing creatures honey bees are!
